There were maybe forty minutes of actual dishes. He was in there for three hours. The son went in at the two-hour mark and said "dude we have a dishwasher." His friend said he preferred to hand-wash. He had never hand-washed a dish in his adult life. His roommates can confirm this. He asked if he could come back for Christmas. "Just to help out." He doesn't celebrate Christmas. He was raised in a different religion entirely. He is flexible on this, apparently.
