Stateroom balconies are not as private as people think. The cruise ship has fourteen decks and most of them have a direct sightline to yours. This is something several families learned the hard way when the kids came running back from the deck to say they'd seen something "weird."

The photo made it to a private Facebook group for cruise families, then immediately escaped into a public one, then onto Twitter, and now there's a change.org petition about balcony privacy screens. The comments section is doing the Lord's work.
